Overview
Children available:
Both boys and girls 1 year of age or older are available for adoption. These children reside in orphanages while waiting for adoption. The orphanages in Poland have an adequate staff-to-child ratio. Detailed and usually accurate information about children’s medical and psychological condition are presented with referrals. Children generally have light colored skin and hair.
Parents Qualification:
Married couples and single women can adopt. Women may be up to 40 years older than the child, and fathers can be up to 45 years older than the child.
Timeline:
It may take from 4 to 12 months to complete the adoption process from Poland.
Travel:
Travel to Poland is necessary in order to complete the adoption and 2 trips are required.
